GuestXR dissemination at a conference about presence in VR
The GuestXR project was recently disseminated during the conference “Presence in Virtual Reality”, organised by the Department of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) on February 8th-9th, 2024.
In particular, Mel Slater, GuestXR Technical Coordinator and Investigator and Co-director of the Event Lab of the University of Barcelona, joined online to give a presentation titled “Presence: Application and Measurement”, that contained results of the project.
This two-day conference, organised by Fotini Vassiliou (NKUA) and Costas Pagondiotis (University of Patras), covered different topics related to VR: embodiment, perception, presence or interaction, among others.
