GuestXR technical coordinator discusses the future of VR at the Tech Boost Germany Summit
Mel Slater, GuestXR Technical Coordinator and Investigator and Co-director of the Event Lab of the University of Barcelona, attended the Tech Boost Germany Summit, that took place on January 31st, 2024 in Munich (Germany).
In the morning slot of the conference, he delivered the talk “Virtual Reality: Illusions, Applications and the Metaverse & Fireside Chat”. The session, which included outcomes of the GuestXR project, focused on the possibilities of VR of becoming the next stage of human-computer interaction on a massive scale.
The Tech Germany Summit brought together experts, innovators and decision-makers to discuss specific projects and the latest developments on how Germany can continue so strengthen its economic power through technology-supported education.
