GuestXR machine learning system will be tested in social situations that may generate conflict, during interactions involving participants with communication problems or in contexts that trigger debate, such as climate change.
Validating The Guest potential
Success will be measured both by the outcomes of lab-based experimental studies and through the live deployment of the system by trusted organisations that are members of the GuestXR User Group, and the resulting performance data.
Make participants aware
Virtual game to examine the extent to which participants, supervised by The Guest, might experiment attitudes and behavioural change towards climate change after a direct experience with consequences of making cooperative vs. competitive decisions in the tragedy of commons applied to global warming.
Validation of The Guest in geopolitical resolution in conjunction with organisations like the United Nations. This use case will aim to bring members of two sides together for acquaintance and building mutual trust, and them, shifting their attitudes from competitive orientations to cooperative orientation for a final conflict mediation.
Social application for hearing impaired participants
This use case aims to promote the social inclusion of the hearing-impaired individuals in VR and AR, as well as boosting the abilities of individuals with good hearing to communicate efficiently with individuals with hearing loss, by combing voice analysis tools, multisensory devices and displays with multisensory training protocols and interfaces.
