GuestXR organises the first meeting with its user group
The GuestXR user group has officially kicked off with the celebration of its first online meeting, held on June 1st. The meeting was conducted by Mel Slater, GuestXR project Technical Coordinator and Investigator and Co-director of the Event Lab of the University of Barcelona.
The aim of this initial meeting was to give a general overview of the project and to present the objectives of the user group, which includes the execution of proof-of-concept trials and the generation of suggestions for new use cases, as well as the share of general advice on the project.
The group, currently consisting of of 10 people, was divided into 4 subgroups, with every participant having the possibility of joining the group/s that are of most interest for them. The aim is to have regular formal meetings, as well as more frequent informal ones to discuss specific lines of work.
The GuestXR group is an association of potential users of and contributors to the technology, made up of professionals and researchers interested in the different uses cases and experimental studies developed within the project.
