GuestXR technical coordinator delivers a lecture on VR applications to students of Goldsmiths, University of London

Mel Slater, GuestXR Technical Coordinator and Investigator and Co-director of the Event Lab of the University of Barcelona, held an academic lecture at Goldsmiths, University of London on February 1st, 2024.

The lecture, attended by around 35 students from the MA/MSc Virtual & Augmented Reality course of the University, was entitled “Virtual Reality: Illusions, Applications and Measurement” and included results from the GuestXR project.

Within GuestXR, the Event Lab focuses on effective virtual human characters to represent people in virtual reality, and also on conflict resolution.

The MA/MSc Virtual and Augmented Reality programme teached by Goldsmiths, University of London includes subjects like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, modelling and animation or games programming.
