Presenting GuestXR research at the Salzburg Mind Brain Annual Meeting
Beatrice de Gelder, Professor and Director of the Brain and Emotion Laboratory from Maastricht University, took part of the Salzburg Mind Brain Annual Meeting (SAMBA), held on July 11th-12th, 2024, at the Faculty of Natural and Lifesciences of the University of Salzburg (Austria).
On July 12th, Beatrice de Gelder delivered the presentation “The body from inside out”, which contained research based on the GuestXR project.
In particular, this work introduced a new approach to the study of face and body perception, using data driven methods that jointly addresses category selectivity and expression perception.
The Salzburg Mind Brain Annual Meeting (SAMBA), organised by the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience (CCNS), brings together experts from the cognitive neuroscience field since 2017.
